To be tall, or not to be tall.

Sometimes I think it would be better to be taller. I'm just a hair over 5'5\" so, about average. It seems like I'm constantly having to stand on something to reach everything I need at work. But, then I look at one of my coworkers who is pushing 7 feet and spends half his day reaching stuff down for us shorter folks. Maybe an inch or so taller would be nice but I think that's as far as I'd go. Besides, there's always platforms! :laugh:

I'm more or less, ok with my height. The only problem I have is a wrong posture because I've grown really fast when I was a child, so all the other kids were shorter and I'd always bend while being around them, trying to look shorter. My orthopaedic also said that my spine is slightly \"crooked\" - don't know how to describe it any better and have forgotten the scientific name...

To see a world in a Grain of Sand,
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.

My spine is really weak and my posture is ususual as well. I was corsetted since about..the age of 13, and it's led to me having a posture unlike most my age, but because of my eating issues, my body's just too weak to support itself well - I get a lot of pain along my spine and my now natural posture doesn't help it at all. :S

Though it does make me appear taller than what I would be without my posture.

I'm pretty much normal height, and my boy over average. 1,90 or so, but it's cool, as we usually lie or sit down when kissing or stand of different heights (like in an escalator, I always stand so that I'm as high as him).

And me liking high heels doesn't make it worse... and I mean high heels, the higher the better, and I never wear the more normal ones... they're boring.

Started whering corsets just a few weeks ago (but been wearing it pretty much every day since, and I'm already beginning to change my body to it, tho it hurts a bit at times), but I'm always had a good posture. That why I'm so good in heals, and one of the reasons I love high heels... :blush:

My beauty is not the shape of the body,
but the voices in you mind;
the thoughts you can't live without

Yeah..Heels really do help with posture. I used to wear them with my corsets, although recently my ankles haven't been as strong and my heels don't have much grip on them, which means I can't wear them through winter weather really.

I still get a little nervous with platform heels. It's just strange being so far from the ground compared to when I'm not wearing them. :woohoo: I love how they give the illusion of longer legs though. ^.^
