Nervousness

I'm awfully nervous. And I hate it. Every situation can cause stress, especially when there's a lot people around me. I hope working on it will/can make it better.

Wow, you sound like my little sister. She's always nervous about everything. She even shivers sometimes. haha
Not to mention, she has major trouble with talking to guys.

I used to have a lot of trouble talking to guys. It's not so bad now, but I'm still really shy when a new guy comes along and I'm on my own with no friends to fill the conversation gaps. I used to come out with a load of weird squeaking-whining-noises that were automatic when I tried to speak whilst I was shy. It was really bad and *SO* embarassing..

People found it amusing and somehow, they found out about a guy I 'fancied', who sat in front of me in science. They deliberately tapped his shoulder one day so he would turn around and ask me what I wanted, and as predicted - I would squeak or make whining noises if I tried to reply.

Grr..I was just a joke for a lot of my high school life. There were too many things about me to pick on. :huh:

Anecdotes are fun! They are a good method for bringing across a point.

I was never shy talking to guys (if I somehow ended up in the position to do that), but the problem is that I can't show I'm interested in a guy more then just as a friend... :S

Thanks to my father, I was never shy with girls. I never new what to say, but I wasn't shy. Sometimes that made it worse. What's even worse than that is the awkward silence. It doesn't bother me but I know it bothers other people.
And I love anecdotes. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't have much to converse about in the first place. It's easy to just tell a story about your past in a convo rather than come up with something new, because you know everything about the story seeing as it's in your memory.
