THANK YOU VERY MUCH :D that was the kind of thing I needed, no need to take a better one I see what you are getting at and I appreciate the effort you made deeply. I will go for it and try to make it the way I wanted, also there is a difference here because tattoo artists have an unwritten rule of charging a lot if they know this is your first tattoo, and I am going to try and go past that. :kiss: :woohoo:

Most tattoo shops have websites and guest books. You can always send them a message there and ask them how much would the tattoo cost. Remember you have to tell them the size and place you want the tattoo.
Here is the forum of one of the best tattoo shops in Croatia, so check it out: forum.tetoviranje.com/Default.aspx?g=topics&f=4

About tattoo prices in general, I think Croatia or Serbia aren't comparable to the USA as for example here in Croatia you may have 20 at the whole really good and professional tattoo shops in the whole country and therefore the prices are also much more expansive.
I have one friend that got her tattoo done by a cheap artist and it got infected and she had to go to hospital. She had a nasty scar in the place of the tattoo or what was left of it, which she eventually got covered by another tattoo, but this one done by a professional artist not by some scratcher.
I think it's better to give a bit more money but be sure you are in the right hands.

I guess that's true, because I know a part of town where there are 7 tattoo shops within a mile, and they are all good. That probably keeps the prices lower. But I have \"my\" tattoo person, who is great, and I like her and her style, so I keep going to her. My husband goes to a different shop entirely, because he liked the guy's style there. It is nice to have so much to choose between.

Just make sure they use new needles, sterilized, and follow clean guidelines. You definitely don't want to get an infection!

Nothing to see here, move along folks.

millkins, definitely wait until you find an artist who will give you exactly the design you want. You're paying for it, and it's going to be on your skin forever, so this is not something that you want to compromise on. They may suggest changes, but that doesn't mean you have to accept them. And of course you need to make sure the place is clean, as scootiebee mentioned... don't want to pick up any nasty infections.

Good luck!

I've made my first tattoo today but I made a mistake. I've put it upside down for the others but upright for me! :angry: Silly me!!!

@Morgana and Scootiebee
Thanks for the info, that is my worst fear, since my skin is thick as hell but so sensitive it would seriously make a problem if even the slightest thing is off, and if I do catch something it will be tough to treat since I am allergic ah hell. When I say all this out loud a tattoo seems so crazy but I am gonna find someone and if he messes up well, I can always ask where he lives :P
Also I have already found a few people that say they can make it and the price is ok, now I am looking for someone among my friends who made a tattoo there....I am making some progress :D

I can't swim. I can't drive, either. I was going to learn to drive but then I thought, well, what if I crash into a lake?
