eyeteeth are the canines, the pointy teeth, the fangs, etc. I think braces can be a necessary thing at any age, not just cosmetic because of age. If your teeth don't align properly, you can get jaw pain or other dental problems as you age. If you need the braces to make your teeth align properly, especially the back teeth, then you probably wouldn't have to pay. I know a few adults who got braces after they had kids! Strange, but true.

Good luck at the dentist. I always try to think of how nice my teeth will feel afterward while they are working on me.

These days, I don't mind going because of that reason. :P Plus I often go in knowing that I don't need any scary work doing on my teeth.

I'll consider getting 'invisible' braces when I'm older..I don't think I could afford it at the moment nor do I think they'd offer me the option at this age, when they could easily stick on metal 'train tracks' for a cheaper price on the NHS.

Now I'm on a waiting list to see a specialist, because my dentist has \"never seen THAT on an x-ray before\". Not the words you want to hear! urgh...
