Camden & London

I assume many have heard about Camden and the many gothic shops you can find there...
So who has been there? What are your favorite shops? Any secret places you want to share with us?
I was only once there, was mostly rushed through the streets as I was with a friend who wasn't so interested and it was our last day in London.
An other friend who studies in London told me that the prices there are very expansive as Camden is more of a tourist attraction and that it's hard to find a good deal for anything there...
So if there are any people from London, or very familiar with it, on the forum, could you tell us the best places to shop for gothic stuff?

To see a world in a Grain of Sand,
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.

I've never been to Camden...
in fact I went to London one time and I did not like. Especially because everything, absolutely everything, is really too expensive ...

I love Camden for the fact it really opens your eyes to what is out there. Personally I prefer to window shop, take a mental note of what I'm interested in, then look it up online when I get home. :P Such a bargain hunter, haha.

However, I'm willing to pay full-price when it comes to the gothic lolita shops in Camden, seeing as they're the only ones in Britain that specialise, as far as I'm aware? I know my prices from shopping online so much, so I'll know if something's around the right price or over-the-top.

There's tons of shops that specialise in corsetry as well, great for a first-timer, and the range of clothing available is great for a picky person (like myself). :)

It's hard to explain 'secret places', but I remember there was a Chinese food shop near one of the markets, so my family went off to explore in there whilst I wandered off to look around - There's a very narrow path near The Stables (?) where there's lots of jewellery and corsetry stalls. I loved Sai Sai (a lolita shop) and the surrounding shops as well. :)

I love Camden! I've only been there once with my friend, but i loved the experience! Everything there was really expensive though! Despite this i loved looking at all the strange and interesting clothes and other things everwhere. There's a good atmosphere about the place and i definitely want to go there again.
Of all the places, cyberdog stays in my memory the most, most of the clothes there cost a fortune and are not exactly my style anyway, but all of the wierd stuff in there is fun to look at and their displays are also pretty cool.
