Pre-Launch preview: Here are just a few of the new products from Alchemy Gothic, released in the 2009 catalogue.

Much of Alchemy’s 'steampunk' collection revolves around Ezekiel Empire Rosenstein's, (a.k.a. EER, Victorian 'descendant' to the original, 18th century Dr von Rosenstein), incredible ‘Galvanic Matter Transposition System’ for 'pronto mass remotion', (the earliest known 'teleporter', a kind of three-dimensional fax machine). Known as the 'GMT', this sensational invention was, sadly, completely lost to science, however, from a combination of surviving fragments in our archives, anecdotal evidence and recently-found early drawings, Alchemy Gothic 1977 have been able to reconstruct several of the Rosenstein’s GMT principle elements.

EP2  D’Duke’s Polarising Monocle:  Believed to be the first optical device to successfully filter polarised light waves, (however, the striated glass element has, sadly, been lost); on 20” long, fine black curb chain with T-bar.	R151 Dibnah’s Venesective Blast Pipe Ring:  Ingenious invention based on Dibnah-pioneered principles, for intravenal pressure control when travelling at very high velocity, or altitudes, i.e. over 35mph, or above 1,000 feet, (e.g the Eiffel Tower). Articulated finger ring with glass rod cylinder and adjustable lower shank.
AAG.46  Lucrezia Borgia’s Poison Goblet:  Late C15th noble goblet bearing the Borgia’s double-headed phoenix crest and the initials LB, and housing an amply proportioned cavity behind the knop’s secret panel.	AAG.47 Lucrezia’s Guest Goblet: A lesser goblet in the same style as the host’s, but intended to receive, rather than dispense.
