I just bought myself an early birthday present, the Betrothal ring

Since it's being sent from England, it may well not be THAT early of a birthday present by the time it gets here, though.

Eek. :P That was my first AG purchase *ever*..^.^ Nice choice! I think I also bought it for my own birthday or Christmas, haha.

>O.O< The first AG item I ever received was the Betrothal Ring. My husband bought it for me as a gift for our 5th anniversary.

I bought my best friend a birthday gift...but as she's registering here I don't want to say it just yet or I'll spoil the surprise! (I'll update this later!)

Death's kiss was soft as rose petals...

I haven't bought any AG stuff for years, just haven't bought myself anything much other than practical stuff for so long. So I decided to treat myself today and just bought - off eBay, BIN too! - an Equalicorn pendant and a gothic spider/tribe pendant (the bcopper-coloured spider with the skull for a body). I've also got my eye on a couple of other things that are on auction, but I'm not holding my breath as they'll probably go quite high.

When I lived in Leicester, many moons ago, there was a purely Alchemy shop that sold nothing else, on Braunstone Gate. It was called The Closet, tiny place but they sold, at the time, everything Alchemy, including clothing and non-jewellery stuff. When it closed down it had a sale, but I missed it! One of my friends got a great purchase though - he bought one of the shop fittings, a giant arm and hand in resin flipping the bird, I think they used it for displaying bracelets and stuff on, and he got it for a tenner!

Spider/tribe pendant? Could you upload a picture of it? I can't remember which one it is and I have pretty much the whole catalogue in my head. :silly: I know there is an AlchemyPoker pendant which has a skull for it's body, but that one isn't two tone as I remember.

The Closet is Alchemy's in house shop, I assume they don't have it open as a walk-in-store any more but I know they have an online store: www.closetalchemy.com/
