I've been grazing on chocolates and cookies pretty much non-stop since Christmas Eve. I was going to make an apple pie for dessert on Christmas Day, but we decided that there's already enough sweet stuff in the house, so I didn't bother.

I've been putting the cookies in the microwave... anywhere from 5 to 10 seconds each seems to do the trick, and they taste like they're just fresh out of the oven again! You just have to be careful not to overdo it and burn them, especially if there's a lot of sugar in the recipe.

I've been stuffing myself with mom's pancakes. :blush: They taste hundred times sweeter when I don't have to be in the kitchen making them. :silly:

yuck! I can imagine how you feel! I couldn't even get close to a McDonalds during this holidasy season.
My mom just asked me today what kind of cake I want for my b-day. I asked for a coconut-chocolate one, we'll see if it ends up that way. Forgot to ask her which kind my sister asked for. :silly: Each one is getting her own. :woohoo:
