although you are right TSTR, in that diablo is a hack 'n' slash game, hack 'n' slash is a sub-genre of rpg, so it is both. sub genre's used to cause me a lot of confusion in the past, so i thought i'd clear that up for you.

The wife and I are chomping at the bit for it. If Blizzard releases a special edition version of it like they did with the release of StarCraft II I'll be putting down the chunk of cash for it. I hope they do. The news of the release prompted me to install D2 on the new computer and start playing through it again. All these years I've owned it and the expansion and I still haven't made it to the cow level.
If you have no one to blame but yourself then clearly you need to stop doing things alone.

Ahh..I can't even do that. My little brother scratched up my D2 main disc *and* expansion disc..I don't know what's wrong with his computer really. It might as well eat every disc we stick in it because everything comes out scratched and no longer usable. :S

on battle.net you can create an account an fill in your diablo 2 (LoD) cd key.
that way you can get a digital copy of the game
