Is that an invitation to die-hards? I'd probably be a die-hard forum chatter but I'm back at college now so maybe won't be chatting so much...
I'm all up for a social introduction conversation though! Someone else go first though.

Hmmm . . . Perhaps I shall be the brave one who gets the ball rolling? I am definitely interested in getting to know my fellow boarders so here goes . . .

My name is Carla and I hail from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in Canada. I live there in the midst of a close extended family with my husband of two years and a plethora of pets. This includes twelve fish, a crab, a shrimp, a cat, two cockatiels, a snake and two mice. (I know, someone needs to teach us about the food chain one of these days.)

I'm a chef with my journeymen papers at a local hotel where I run the front line which is actually situated out in the midst of the restaurant. In my spare time (what little I have) I watch DVDs (we have a rather large collection), write fantasy novels, draw and paint. Some of my paintings, which are mostly abstract takes on fantasy themes, are actually going to be featured for sale at a local pagan festival next year.

The rest of my time is divided between working on the home we purchased this past year and visiting my local goth shop \"Gothical\" to help feed my alchemy addiction. On occassion I can be found all gothed up and waving a black rose at passing cars in front of the store or, more recently, behind the till helping out as the store's only staff are the owner and her two sons. They run a second store right next door so it can get pretty hectic at times.

Every once and awhile I manage to poke my nose into the forum here to see what's going on elsewhere. So who's up next?

I shall sacrifice myself as second

Well i'm The Alcherealist, also better know as The Obscurialist or Tearlyn.
I'm currently 18, addicted to Alchemy since ... 4 years ago or 4.5.
Now in my last days as Fashion Student in Sint-Lukas Gent, but i will do 2 years further in Fashion in Antwerp. I hope there are some more good goth-shops...

In my free time i'm mostly writing, drawing, sewing, photographing or reading. Since a short time i'm also making little clips and movies.

For the rest ... I'm addicted to chocolat :P
Euhmmm i love animals, i have a few here. we had more, but they all died short after each other (to old ...). That's life.

Here we go then:

My real name is Liam, I live in England - my nearest big town is Salisbury which I'm proud of because it has a gorgeous cathedral (I want to be an architect when I'm older). My current occupation is as a college student in Winchester (which also has a nice cathedral). My biggest interest is playing the drums, which I've done for a couple of years now, but I don't take lessons so I couldn't say if I'm any good! I also like reading. I've into Alchemy since I needed some coffin shaped cuff links to wear to my school prom - I went in a hearse with my girlfriend (she was in the coffin in the back). But we didn't win best entrance...

In regards to gothicness, I'm not a full-out total goth, but I do dress in black and incorporate gothic touches like Alchemy bits (one of my favourites is the now out-of-production bat wallet chain). Most people think I'm a full goth though (could be to do with my hoodie with \"MausoLiam\" written on the back...). I also like ornaments by Nemesis Now.

Email me if you want to know more :P

OK here goes, I'm Sue from Australia. I live with my two children and I work with children that have various disabilities and learning disorders. I would not class myself as a goth but I do love some of the clothing and jewellery. To be honest I like anything that is a bit out there so to speak.

I have just discovered Abney Park a steampunk band and I'm really enjoying their music and clothing style at the moment.

So there you go - just a tiny little bit about myself and nice to meet you all.
