I think I also watched the Gummi Bearswhen I was Little. But, till now I didn't know it's Disney's.

I remember the Gummi Bears as well, although I didn't watch it very often. And I didn't know it was Disney either. I think there are (or at least were) candies of them as well, similar to jelly beans.

:P Were the sweets inspired by the cartoon? Curious as to which came first now.

Gummi-bear sweets are pretty common here.

Hans Riegel invented gummi bears (the first gummi candy) and gummi candy during the 1920s.

The cartoon, original run from September 14. 1985 to February 22. 1991
