From finding a good bra to other \"female\" topics

I've never really liked bras. Ever. There's been periods, of course, where I can wear them like anything else, and periods where I take them off the first chance I get when coming home, and shouting \"Freedom!\".

Last months I haven't been using a bra at all, only a few times even tho I've been working and everything. I just don't like them, and it doesn't make it easier that I got a size most stores don't even have... well, only found one store so far, and only got one bra.
Doesn't make it better that I don't like the hard parts, but want one made only of lace and/or cotton, but they usually don't even have the regular bra-sizes, just medium and the like.

But, after a long search, I found one that was comfy, stayed where it should and only gives me double-boobs when I'm pushing my shoulders back.

And I got the smallest breasts in my family...

Anyone else having the same kind of trouble? Or is it something only common in my genes?

Guys, you can also take part in the discussion. Do you ever buy bras for your girl? A friend of mother had her husband go get a bra, and when they in the store asked him what size, he said \"about a hand-full\"

I hate not wearing a bra, the only time I don't is when I'm sleeping. My breasts aren't huge, but they're quite dense (according to a doctor I saw once, anyway) so I really like good support. I enjoy shopping for bras as well, because I always like to have new, well fitting ones. I'd never want anyone to buy one for me though, I really think you need to try them on. It's just like any other item of clothing... just because it say your size on the tag, doesn't mean it will fit you properly.

Most lingerie shops will do professional sizings for free, or perhaps for a small fee. So if anyone is having trouble finding the right size, I'd give that a try. I've never done that myself because I'm pretty sure I know my size. I have read that the majority of women do wear the wrong size bra though.

This brings me to a question... can you wear a bra with a corset, or does that provide enough support on it's own?

I got sized professionally at a good lingerie shop and I almost always need the same size from that shop's brand. I'm really happy with their bras so I don't shop a lot at other shops as I always end up at the same place again. I'm so comfortable with their bras that I don't even need to try them on. I rather spend more money on one good bra then have several cheap ones.
My mom has big breasts and for a really long time she would buy C cup bras for herself and I kept talking to her that no way she had a C cup when a lot of my friends had that size and they didn't have so much breast. She just didn't want to listen to me, so I bought a nice D cup bra for her birthday and she was astonished that it was so much more comfortable! She threw all her C cup bras away and is now happy with the right size.

My breast is stand alone so I hardly ever wear a bra, unless I want extra volume. Since I wear A cup though, it's been pretty hard for me too to find a bra that looks good and has porn star push up effect, until I found the Satin bra from the Dita von Teese Wonderbra collection. It was a bit pricey, but miraculous

@ Morgana: I always wear a bra when wearing a corset. Corsets have some push up effect on their own, but it's usually pretty poor compared to what you get when wearing a bra underneath

I tried to have a regular bra and a corset, and ended up with mangled breasts under my chin... it kinda hurt.
But the one I got now, without any hard parts (what do you call them?) worked pretty fine. I believe the corset (I only have underbust corsets tho, ending under your breasts) works fine by itself, but you get another shape on your breasts... mine tend to fold over when I'm bending down, or just sit down at times, but else I love corsets.

I'm also sure most women never get the right size, and a good example is the beach - how many wearing a bikini will have the binding in the back too high up? My sister had it that way, because the cup was the right size but not the other parts... untill we found this store which has all sizes of bras (really, up to K!) where I got to know my real size... (asked the old lady running the shop, she walked over to me, began measuring with her hands, and said two sizes I should try. When I was trying them out, she stuck her head in and looked it over, said 'that's the one, don't even need to try the other'. Was a bit weird, but what the hell, she works with breasts, why not show mine as well? :silly:
