I don't really need a day to \"remind\" me to show the person I love that I do love them. i see it as a day that I can be a bit more affectionate and over the top, and it's not only appreciated by them but socially acceptable to go crazy about it. :) It's a day set aside to do more than you normally would.

I loath the Catholic holiday....and since being dumped on that day in 2004 it means all the more that it is a day not worth celebrating....
I became insane with long intervals of horrible sanity

:S Reminded me of when I left a partner on..Boxing Day..But he was from a Muslim family and was brought up that way despite 'dropping' the religion..So..I don't think it was that bad. Hopefully. We're still on speaking terms anyway.

I think spontaneous shows of affection are much more exciting.

Ugh..I just thought..I can't really go out for a normal meal on the night of Valentine's Day can I? Everywhere will be booked up..

So Valentine's day is near. Anyone doing something special this year?

I know I'll be going mad because of my exam, so I'm sure I won't be celebrating. :S

I've never paid much attention to Valentine's Day, other than stocking up on half-price chocolate on the day after the \"holiday\".
