Valentine's Day

Whew. Can't wait for this weekend. Which reminds me - It's Valentine's Day this ..Sunday?

Any of you doing anything special or do you think it's just one huge commercialised day?

Daytona 500! The first, and biggest, race of the NASCAR season is on Sunday afternoon, so I'll definitely be watching that.

As for Valentine's... it's just another excuse to stock up when the chocolate goes on sale. I've never really paid much attention to it as a holiday.

Valentines Day? I normally try to ignore the day since it usually just ends up disappointing.

This weekend and thus, this Valentines Day? I am TOTALLY looking forward to them. I will be traveling across four states to spend the weekend with Knumpcy. I will be a happy little girl. :kiss:

OMG I forgot about the valentines day goddamn, not again, normally I wouldn't care but this year I have to make something, just gotta think of a time to do it.

I have been squashed by Valentine's day this year. I am the \"party mom\" for my daughter's class, and have to arrange the class party. And they canceled school for the rest of the week due to the snow. I had to change around the order for cupcakes with the bakery, and now get to spend an extra 3 days with a huge box of valentine card exchange boxes in my living room. Party was supposed to be Friday, but postponed to Tuesday (Monday is President's Day in the U.S., no school). This is getting nutty. But Valentine's would be better if my present comes through, though doubtful. A tow truck got stranded in the entrance to my neighborhood this morning, took almost 2 hours to get him out. I don't think the UPS truck will risk it. So I won't get my present.

Oh, well, it will come eventually! But by Valentine's day I might want to fling my family out the window. too much togetherness, snowed in. But at least we have the Daytona 500 to watch, from someplace WARM! And Go Tony Stewart!

So this Sunday it's Valentine's Day (Feb 14th).
