My favorite Tim Burton movie is Beetlejuice. I like his other movies alright (except for Nightmare Before Christmas...if I have to see it one more time, I'll scream *long story*), but I like Beetlejuice the best because the "weird" character (Lydia) gets a happy ending. She gets to live in the house with the ghosts. I liked Edward Scissorhands, but the ending always made me mad...everything turns out ok for everyone else, but poor Edward just ends up going back to the castle by himself. Same thing with the Corpse Bride...it worked out great for everyone but her at the end.

Even a man who is pure in heart and says his prayers by night, may become a wolf when the wolfsbane blooms and the autumn moon is bright.

Sleepy Hollow is my all time favourite film anyway, but Beetlejuice is probably my second favourite Tim Burton; as Janelle said, the best character gets a happy ending. And it's done in such a flaky style, it's really clever. Edward Scissorhands is the most I've ever cried* at a film so that deserves a special mention.

*It was more of a few tears if I'm honest but that's more than any other film I've watched.

I can't really decide which one is the best. I love Beetlejuice, Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands, Sweeney Todd and Planet of the Apes.
Really looking forward to seeing Alice in Wonderland; the trailer is very promising and I think it could be worth an Oscar, Burton sure does deserve one!

Cowards die many times before their deaths; The valiant never taste of death but once.
Of all the wonders that I yet have heard, it seems to me most strange that men should fear;
Seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come.
