Anyone else here celebrate Guy Fawkes Night the 5th of november.

I love guy Fawkes night, although most bonfires and fireworks displays where i live aren't on the 5th unless it falls on a saturday, and so choose the nearest saturday to it, because i guess less people would be able to go to the displays due to weekday work.

We don't have it in Croatia, but I and two friends made a lecture about it, Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot for our English class. Put some clips from the V for Vendetta movie in the powerpoint presentation and everyone was left speechless.

It's not celebrated in Canada either, but I have heard of the customs surrounding it. I saw a movie once about the history of it as well, called Gunpowder Treason and Plot... very entertaining!
